Stansberry Research - Pissed too!
I ordered a book that sounded very interesting, for about $20 I was willing to satisfy my curiosity BUT apparently I agreed to a subscription for $149 which I did not realize until I saw it on my credit card bill. I in no way was interested in a subscription and do not read their newsletter.
There are hundreds of complaints so that tells me that THEY are the problem. I have challenged the charge on my credit card but was unable to have it removed. I would love to see what I agreed to and how it appears on the website. I am usually very careful about agreeing to those kinds of offers.
Deceptive marketing practices if you ask my opinion. I will be calling them and canceling my subscription.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $149.
